Bodies of two men in search of the River
21 October 2010.
TWO men have died in the Thames near Staines after water to get a dog.
Police and fire and rescue teams were called on scene at Penton Hook Lock, Laleham Reach approximately 2: 30 p.m. Wednesday (20 October) and shortly after they recovered the body of a man in his 20s water.
He was taken to the Hospital of St. Pierre, Chertsey, while research has continued until 1 p.m. Thursday when a second body - a man at the end of his adolescence or early 20s - was found.
Neither victim has yet been identified by the police.
Runnymede neighbourhood Inspector Roger Nield said the pair thought penetrated into the water to save a dog, who later left the river itself.
