Husband charged with Ashtead stabbing murder

THE husband of a woman who was stabbed to death?in Ashtead has been charged with her murder.
Richard Davies Jones, 33, was charged in the early hours of Monday with?murdering social worker Laura Davies Jones on December 1.
The 31-year-old victim was found dead at their home, with a post-mortem examination revealing the cause of death to be a stab wound to the throat.
Mr Davies Jones, a solicitor from Woodfield Lane, Lower Ashtead, was due to appear at Guildford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
