Tributes paid to India hotel balcony plunge victim

A HORLEY?woman who plunged to her death from a hotel balcony in India has been described as "very valued and popular" by her employer.

Doctors surgery?receptionist Sunanda Valand, 37, died after apparently jumping from the sixth floor of the Ramee Guestline Hotel in Mumbai?last Thursday (November 4), the day before she was due to return to the UK.

And Dr Vijay Kumar, senior partner at Birchwood Medical Practice in Kings Road, Horley,?revealed that patients and colleagues were still struggling to come to terms with the devastating news.

“We are all deeply shocked by what happened, but at the moment our thoughts are with her family at this dreadful time,” said Dr Kumar.

“We are all still reeling from the shock of it all. She was a very valued and popular member of staff.”

Mrs Valand had been?in the country on holiday?with her husband Ajay, a security worker at Heathrow Airport, since October 29.

Mr Valand told police his wife had been unhappy in India because of the heat.

Mumbai police inspector Ashok Pimple said: "It is a clear case of suicide and there is no suspicion."

A Foreign Office spokesman said that Mrs Valand's next of kin had been contacted and were receiving support and assistance.

The spokesman?declined to comment on the circumstances surrounding her death.

Victim leads cops murdered attackers body

Linden police found the body of a man who was killed in a clash with the holder of a firearm to Moblissa yesterday.
The discovery was made after the holder of the firearm licensed, which is currently under police to the hospital in Linden with several chops on his body, his confrontation with the man now dead and two others escort.

Researchers believe that death may be linked to the culture of marijuana in the mining community.

A man who returned to England, earlier this year, to be closer to family recovers health problems suffered a setback after being attacked at Guildford High Street.

Simon Vicary, 55, who suffers from depression and anxiety, said he had been left in much pain since the incident last Thursday (October 14).

He said: "I was walking to Sainsbury's in the afternoon, when the attack went."

"I was contacted by a man, and find it me in the abdominal region."

"I was sick with depression and I could not sleep because it occurred."

Mr. Vicary is returned to the United Kingdom in February, to live in Guildford, after 35 years in America.

He said: "I lived in Los Angeles and Atlanta and nothing like this has never happened me before."

"This is what looks like Guildford? this is the great day."

"It must have been all kinds of people who saw him."

Surrey police spokesman said: "the incident occurred at 5: 35 pm autour when the victim walked up to the high street to Sainsbury's to do some shopping."

"The suspect shouted him as he walked past and tried to push him."

"The victim attempted to market, but it has been addressed by the suspect, who is on the left, causing pain to its shores."

"The victim had alerted a security incident supermarket guard and police were called".

The spokesman added that one aged 33 of Guildford was arrested on suspicion of assault.
