Donal MacIntyre attacked by "pack of wolves."

The man accused of attacking the TV Donal MacIntyre journalist said that he was an innocent exudes acting in self-defence.

James Wild, 47, accompanied by his daughter Caley, 23, is accused of being part of a revenge against Mr MacIntyre and his wife Ameera attack.

The Tribunal has been informed by counsel for defence Gregory Fishwick as Mr. Wild, Isis House, Chertsey bridge Wharf, had a history of delinquency, including violence, but had clearly been convictions for 26 years.

The Board heard that he spent three months in Institute a young offenders after that he was involved in a brawl pub in 1979.

Two years later in Richmond Magistrates' court, Mr. wild was fined for offences relating to the vehicle, including driving without a licence or insurance and to means of transport without unduly.

In 1982, he was arrested and sentenced to a fine of 500 pounds for flight lead roof of a building which he alleges was abandoned at the time.

His last offence was in 1984 for driving while uninsured.

But since then, Mr. Wild "had himself on track", said Mr. Fishwick.

In his testimony, the defendant said currently lived for much of the year in Estepona in Spain and had sunbeds on tourist beaches sales specialist company.

Earlier Thursday Ameera MacIntyre has also testified.

She told the Court: ' I was crying in the toilet after these men approached me and my husband at the table.

"They shouted things Jason Marriner and Donal is a grass", she says.

Donal had followed me for ladies and he tried to console me.

"Then, when we left the ladies, there was a group of them and they surrounded Donal.".

"They descended on him like a pack of wolves."

"He was pushed to the floor at the door and was shot punched and kicked viciously.

"It was a sea of people and that they were kicked him they kept saying"it - is Jason".".

Mr. Wild refuses the onslaught of Donal MacIntyre causing bodily harm and assault causing bodily Ameera McIntyre and another load to a witness.

Caley Wild Falcon Road, Sunbury, rejects one count of assault by beating.

The trial continued.
