THE successful campaign Miss Great Britain is growing and running for a Guildford IT worker.
Alex Williams will be competing with the best of the beauty of Britain in December, and its preparations prior to the show were already integrated runs a 10-mile race and raise money for charity for children.
23 - Year - old reached the great final after winning Miss Southampton, when she impressed the judges by answering questions and sports swimwear.
Alex bear outfits even more in the end, a spectacular three-day held at Weston-super-Mare, including a white dress cocktail, evening dress and sportswear.
The event also tests the creative skills of young ladies as candidates to design a supposed to dress to represent Great Britain.
But win or lose, it is determined that dress-making and modeling will be only a small part of his campaign.
Alex has been contacted by the Rose Road Association, which supports children and youth with disabilities to become an Ambassador for charity and take part in the great race South to raise funds.
Despite his nervousness never having taken part in a long distance run before, Alex has completed the course Sunday in an hour and 51 minutes.
She said afterwards: "it was a really fun day and a great experience, I couldn't believe how many people were there.
"I was able to run the way without stopping, but I felt the pain in my legs now YH ' certainly now have bug running, and I am eager to make a half - marathon then, then perhaps a marathon."

Take part in a parade of beauty is not a new experience for Alex .the ' last year she reached the top 15 in the competition of Miss England after starring in a competition in a magazine, but it missed out on doing one of the three.
Nevertheless, she enjoyed the event and looks forward to the same this year.
"I'm really thrilled the final because I think it will be a fantastic experience and I'll hope some great people", she says. ""I want to enjoy myself and take advantage of this opportunity.
