Trio convicted of violence in the collection of funds on the theme of the JackO

THREE men were sentenced violent disorder after a "terrifying" fight a charity Michael Jackson-themed evening in Oxshott.

Darren Curtis, 21 and younger brother Daniel, 19, 25-year-old Aidan Daly, were found guilty by a jury Thursday after a week at Guildford Crown Court trial.

Court heard that on the evening of August 21 year fight last left Holtwood Road village hall children and families fear for their safety has led to a trail of destruction.

The prosecution stated brothers invaded the room after Daly had thrown bottle Daniel Curtis in the Hall.

Attorney Robin Sellers said there was "group violence."

"It was clearly frightening for people who had gone to the part of having a good time," he said.

Defending Daly, Derek Barry had stated that his client had acted in self-defence after the brothers had "him" the event was held to raise funds for sick children.

"A community gathered in the village for a good cause Great Ormond Street children's room", he said.

"The intention only to the spirit of Aidan Daly was fun and help a good cause."

"He admits he threw a few shots, but it is not only reasonable?

He had a good time and then a group of gatecrashers stormed intent on violence.

"Aidan Daly and others were victims tonight."

Darren Curtis also testified to defend himself, insisting on the fact that he had made a call from her mother to pick up his brother who was picked saying.

Mr. Sellers said that when he arrived, he claims the fight was already out and only hit woman with a shoe heels high.

He added: "Daniel Curtis had gone to the party for about an hour."

"He saw Aidan Daly going to throw a bottle who has defaulted on his head."

"He asked him what he was doing and he he he."

The Court heard the organizer of the party who stated that he was of inaugurate a group of children, disabled children in the kitchen at the start of the fight.

"It was Oxshott, a small town in Surrey and I do not think that something would kick off," said Lewys Davies. "It was mayhem.?

The brothers Curtis, Waverley Road, Oxshott and Daly, Farm Road, Esher, was remanded in custody by judge Peter Moss and will return to court for sentencing on 19 November.
